Would you like to gain your third level qualification in polymer engineering while remaining in full-time employment?
Atlantic Technical University, Sligo (ATU) in partnership with First Polymer Training Skillnet (FPTS) offers a range of online flexible courses for the polymer industry to suit individuals at all levels ranging from the one-year certificate to a two-year honours degree. In addition, FPTS can provide significant support to companies or individuals to offset the cost of course fees.
These internationally recognised and industry focused programmes are taught by leading experts which offer:
- Accessibility: online lectures allow you to customise your class schedule and study time to meet your needs with limited travel required
- Affordability: FPTS can provide a subsidy towards course fees and additional support may be available through your employer
- Advancement: the skills and expertise gained opens doors for graduates to pursue further qualifications (see our career progression pathway) and job opportunities.
The following programmes are available for 2023/2024:
- Certificate in Polymer Technologies (Level 6)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Ord) in Polymer Processing (Level 7)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Polymer Processing (Level 8)
The online application process is quick and easy with assistance provided from the ATU Admissions Office to those with questions about their eligibility. The deadline to apply for this year is Friday, 18th August 2023 (early application is recommended to avoid disappointment).
