First Polymer Training Skillnet successfully hosted its annual Polymer Study Tour on October 17th and 18th, bringing together a fantastic group of Technology and Engineering teachers from across the country. The immersive two day event was designed to forge stronger connections between the classroom and the cutting-edge polymer industry in Ireland.

The itinerary was packed with valuable experiences, including hands on practical workshops at state of the art polymer facilities. Teachers also participated in exclusive industry tours, gaining a firsthand look at how the Irish polymer sector is driving innovation in critical fields like medical devices, aerospace, and sustainable packaging. The focus was on providing practical insights that can be directly translated into the classroom, inspiring the next generation of talent.

The energy and engagement from the teachers throughout the tour was a clear indicator of its success.
