Explore the Future of Work in Medtech & Manufacturing: Free Information & Networking Seminar on Funded Training and Industry Insights

Leading training organisations in the Medtech and Manufacturing sectors are joining forces to offer a unique opportunity for Irish companies to gain valuable insights into accessing funding and support for learning and upskilling. The “Future of Work” Information & Networking Seminar, presented by the Irish Medtech, Connected Health, and First Polymer Training Skillnets, in partnership with Manufacturing, Engineering & Polymer Apprenticeships, will take place on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Featuring a lineup of distinguished speakers, this free event will address critical challenges faced by Medtech and Manufacturing companies, including recruitment, retention, and skills gaps. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore industry-led solutions and funding supports designed to sustain and grow their businesses.

Highlights Include:

  • Keynote Presentation from Liam Sheedy (Leadership Expert), Vice Chairman, Teneo Ireland, former Tipperary Senior Hurling Manager & RTÉ Pundit.
  • Launch of our Gender Representation in HealthTech Study presented by Dr. Liz Tully and Clare Lewis from Xenon Health Solutions with some key recommendations for Irish companies
  • A senior Medtech & Polymer Industry Experts panel discussion on building and retaining talent in your business.
  • Networking Lunch & Exhibitors

The seminar will commence at 09:30 with registration, followed by a series of engaging presentations and discussions throughout the morning. A light networking lunch will conclude the day at 13:30 where you will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from each Skillnet and the Apprenticeships.
